Children should have a safe, fun place to play and learn, regardless of how the weather looks outside. That’s why the city of Medford wants to build Huey’s Hideaway Children’s Museum.
The children’s museum will be a place all kids will be able to go to learn and have fun, indoors and out. Huey’s doesn’t have a home quite yet, but it’s well on its way. It recently purchased a building on South Main Street in Medford and has renovation plans. Though it’s not ready yet, Huey’s has still been able to put together fun activities for the children of Medford, like a pool party and taking part in community events like Harvest Days last fall.
Huey’s has surpassed their fundraising goal and is set to open in the fall of 2016. However, the museum is still raising funds and soliciting donations and services toward the renovation of the building and long term exhibit construction. Enerquip knows how beneficial a children’s museum will be to Medford and its families. That’s why we offered our support to this cause, and we’re looking forward to the day that Medford residents and visitors get to explore Huey’s Hideaway for themselves and enjoy all that it has to offer.
