Enerquip Attends INTERPHEX in NYC
Enerquip plans to be set up at booth 1767 for the entire three-day conference, and the engineers who attend are always happy to talk about the many uses of shell and tube heat exchangers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological spaces.
Enerquip Attends INTERPHEX in NYC
Enerquip is one of the more than 650 companies that will gather this month at INTERPHEX in New York City. We look forward to this event every year, and are excited to set up our booth once more in the Javits Center.
This year, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 17 and 18, and from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on April 19.
INTERPHEX is one of the most important events in the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology space. Each of these industries require highly specialized equipment and devices. The show presents the perfect environment to learn about new offerings and discoveries, launch new products and get to know other people and companies involved in these markets.
At the 2017 INTERPHEX convention, more than 15 leading suppliers unveiled new technologies, which was exciting to see. Though Enerquip won’t be launching new products at the event, we’re excited to have our new compact shell and tube heat exchanger on display. These are small enough to pick up by hand but powerful enough to use for pharma-grade products as well as in sanitary and industrial applications.
INTERPHEX Speakers We’re Looking Forward To
Beyond the many booths and displays from important industry leaders, INTERPHEX always presents new opportunities to learn new developments and hear about unique issues and solutions from experts.
The keynote series often presents excellent speakers who have in-depth knowledge of challenges the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries face.
On April 17, five professionals will speak to the topic, Oral Solid Dosage Manufacturing, an important aspect of the pharmaceutical industry. Jennifer Markarian, Dave DiProspero, Sharon Nowak, Douglas Hausner and Jose Luis Santos will discuss best practices in equipment configuration, cleaning and maintenance, and startup and changeover. Implementing new processes and systems can be challenging in any industry, but getting the installation, startup, or change of process or equipment just right is particularly important in pharmaceutical production.
INTERPHEX Live is another interesting feature of the conference. This daily event features a panel of experts talking about the latest tech trends in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
One topic scheduled for the morning of Thursday, April 19, is Regulatory Requirements Relating to Water – an important subject for any facility that takes in water for any use. Derek Ung, senior process engineer for CRB, and Ibrahim Khadra, associate/senior pharmaceutical specialist for Johnson & Johnson, will cover this topic, relaying their expertise on what is necessary and most important for understanding water quality in a facility.
Visit Enerquip at Booth 1767
Though there will be plenty of speakers and events to attend, one of our favorite parts of industry conferences like INTERPHEX is meeting new people at our booth. Enerquip plans to be set up at booth 1767 for the entire three-day conference, and the engineers who attend are always happy to talk about the many uses of shell and tube heat exchangers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological spaces. Feel free to drop by our booth to talk shop and learn more about our exchangers.
