Ramping Up Production of Hygiene-Related Products

by | May 8, 2020 | Article, Sanitary

Ramping up production of hygiene-related products has been a necessity during this time of pandemic. As the COVID-19 emergency continues to affect us all, the increased demand for hygiene-related products, such as hand sanitizer and hand soaps, continues to exceed supply.

The Personal Care industry is responding to this health crisis in several ways, according to the Personal Care Council. One response is by switching production in their facilities to increase the production of hand sanitizer and other essential cleaning and hygiene products. These companies have the ability to provide safe and essential products that help fight the spread of the coronavirus. For embracing this initiative, Enerquip says “Thank You!”

How can Enerquip help?

Enerquip is proud to serve the personal care industry as an essential infrastructure supplier. As companies switch production lines within their facilities, we look forward to partnering with them, quickly designing sanitary exchangers for these new personal care products, and playing a part in facing this pandemic together, because together we are stronger.

Enerquip’s shell and tube heat exchangers have several advantages over other types of heat exchangers for sanitary product heating and cooling:

  • Designed with stainless steel with surfaces polished to low Ra finishes, which makes the surfaces resistant to product build-up and easier to clean.
  • Able to process products that are more viscous than many other types of exchangers.
  • Allow easier access to surfaces for visual verification (either directly or by using a borescope) of surface cleanliness than a spiral exchanger or plate and frame exchanger.
  • Operate safely at more extreme temperatures (hot or cold) than other designs and can be designed to work under vacuum or high-pressure conditions.

Enerquip’s shell and tube heat exchangers can also be designed in a variety of configurations. Click here to learn more, or contact one of the Heat Exchanger Experts today!
