It is North America’s largest cheese, butter, and whey processing expo, co-hosted by Center for Dairy Research and Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association. CheeseExpo is a gathering of more than 4,000 industry leaders, suppliers, marketers and more. The expo features impactful seminars, lively events, and its largest-ever exhibition hall, featuring the industry’s leading suppliers. Enerquip will be among the exhibitors. CheeseExpo Opportunities for Dairy Professionals CheeseExpo offers a wide variety of seminars focusing on the hottest topics in the industry. Krysta Harden, President and CEO of U.S. Dairy Export Council, will moderate the RELCO Opening Keynote on April 13. Harden will lead a panel of industry executives exploring opportunities for U.S. dairy processors to advance international sales and sustainability efforts. On Thursday, April 14, WCMA is hosting four educational seminars following the WCMA Recognition Breakfast. Speakers and topics include the following: The Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy will partner with CDR to discuss dairy product safety & sanitation, including a talk and panel on establishing a food safety culture in your dairy plant. WCMA will focus on a key concern among processors: recruiting and retaining an effective workforce. CDR plans a “hot topics” session on cheese quality, including brine management, phage monitoring and control, and flavor defects in cheddar cheese. Finally, your hosts at WCMA and CDR will team up for a workshop on creating an effective cheese grading program at manufacturing sites. Frey Joins Enerquip’s Sales Engineering Team
Enerquip is excited to announce the addition of Nathan Frey to its quality Sales Engineering team. As a Sales Engineer, Frey will be a main point of contact for customers seeking industrial heating equipment including thermal fluid heaters, tank heating coils, economizers, and more. Enerquip’s skilled team of Sales Engineers perform thermal calculations, product design, and ongoing project management. “Enerquip is fortunate to have such a solid sales professional join our unique culture,” says Troy Weik, Sales & Channel Manager. “His innovative design concepts and passion for helping customers made him an obvious choice to join the Enerquip team.” Frey joins Enerquip with 13 years’ experience in various mechanical design and sales-focused engineering roles. From cam and crankshaft position sensors to industrial drives and even web, he’s built relationships by being a valuable technical resource for customers. “I was impressed with Enerquip’s leadership, products, history, and culture,” says Frey. “I’m excited to meet new people, learn new industries, and design some really amazing equipment.” Frey earned his associate of applied science degree in mechanical design from Moraine Park Technical College in Fond Du Lac, WI. He and his wife, Brooke, raise two beagles in their Columbus, WI home. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. Enerquip Responds to Rising Costs
Enerquip is in business to provide our customers with the most cost effective and timely solutions for their heat exchanger needs. That is becoming more challenging with the cost of doing business escalating at unprecedented increases. We have been working diligently over the last year to increase our supply levels for the many raw materials required to build our heat exchangers. The duration of the supply chain crisis and the cost increases for those materials have exceeded what our business is able to absorb. As an example, much of the tubing and pipe that we use has increased as much as 50% within just the last three months. While we continue to persistently manage the changing environment, given the significance of the increases, Enerquip must increase pricing for its products. Effective Monday, November 8, 2021, prices for all Enerquip products will see a price increase. Depending on the components used to build it, the increase could be up to 25%. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together to navigate this difficult economic time.
