Mentorship

For High School Students

Discover diverse career paths and acquire practical skills through Enerquip’s high school mentorship program. For several hours per week, students are immersed in fields such as welding, machining, design, and more. This program is ideal for students looking to gain insight into a particular career, enhance their skills, and gain practical experience. Contact us with questions or your school’s guidance counselor to apply and enroll.

Apprenticeship

For Students Enrolled in Technical Programs or College

Apprenticeship is a part- or full-time, paid position that helps students comprehensively understand their preferred field while earning college credits. This deeper dive offers students more challenging roles and responsibilities. While it’s preferred students complete Mentorship before Apprenticeship, it may not be required. Scholarship

For Medford, Rib Lake, and Gilman High School Seniors

The Enerquip Scholarship honors the memory of Enerquip’s former owners, Pep and Fran Simek, and Jim Nielson. This scholarship offers three separate $1,000 awards to Medford, Rib Lake, and Gilman High School graduates pursuing a technical education in welding, machining, CAD design, engineering, and/or related fields.

The application window typically opens annually from November to January. Seniors from Medford, Rib Lake, and Gilman High Schools are encouraged to contact their school’s guidance office for more details.
