Cost-Effective Helical Coil Thermal Fluid Heaters from Enerquip
Helical coil thermal fluid heaters are built around a helically wound coil – a common approach in fired industrial heaters. For customers with a smaller footprint and a lower heat load, our helical coil systems offer a lower cost option with 85-90% the efficiency of our serpentine coil technology.
Helical coil heaters are extremely versatile and provide peak performance in a variety of applications. While they’re primarily designed to heat thermal oil, they can be used to directly heat fluids such as oil, asphalt, water, and blended fuels.
Enerquip’s helical coil heaters come in two standard configurations. Our smaller HC-130 model is rated at 1.3 MM Btu/Hr. and our larger HC-210 model is rated at 2.1 MM Btu/Hr. When neither of these standard models will do, we can also build custom to your process requirements. Contact us to get started.
Engineered with controls in place for safe operation, plant managers appreciate the quality design and craftmanship of an Enerquip product.

If initial cost is a prime consideration for your next project, let Enerquip’s helical coil thermal fluid heaters be your heater of choice.
Upgrade to an Enerquip Serpentine Coil
Due to their lower maximum temperature rating, the helical coil heater design efficiency is 85-90% of the serpentine coil design. When it comes to future tube maintenance, the entire coil bundle must be replaced in a helical coil design.
With a serpentine coil, a section may be pulled out and replaced on its own, saving you time and money. Learn why a Serpentine Coil Heater may be a better investment in the long run.
