Enerquip has a Full-Time Opening for a Stainless Steel Polisher in Medford, WI
Primary responsibilities for this 1st Shift position include polishing stainless-steel components to clean finishes, and smoothing and shining the surfaces of various items. Applicants should be familiar with the materials commonly used in the industry, comfortable performing repetitive tasks, and offering support to other areas in the manufacturing process.
Major Skills, Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs polishing operations using hand and power tools.
- Polishes components to achieve clean, high-quality surface finishes.
- Performs grinding, deburring, and other surface preparation tasks.
- Inspects parts for defects, inconsistencies, and potential safety concerns.
- Operates equipment required to perform assigned duties safely and efficiently.
- Cleans, maintains, and properly stores tools and equipment.
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and follows all prescribed safety procedures.
- Completes assigned tasks according to manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision.
- Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment.
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Stable work history
- Manufacturing experience, a plus
- Experience in an ASME Section VIII shop a plus
Schedule & Location
- Full time, day shift (four 10-hour days M-Th + overtime on Fridays if needed)
- No weekends
- In-person in Medford, WI
