Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Fabrication & Assembly: Responsible for fitting, aligning, and assembling structural components according to blueprints and technical drawings. This includes performing cutting, grinding, welding, and drilling as required.
  • Inspection & Quality Control: Measures and inspects components to ensure they meet specifications and performs quality checks throughout the assembly process. Identifies and resolves any fitment or assembly issues that arise.
  • Tool & Equipment Operation: Operates hand tools, power tools, welding machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently, and maintains equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follows all safety protocols and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintains accurate records of assembly steps and inspections, and promptly reports defects, malfunctions, or non-conformances to the supervisor.
  • Painting: Prepares and paints industrial heaters and heat exchangers according to customer specifications and internal quality standards, ensuring a clean and durable finish.
  • General: Keeps the work area clean and organized, follows all company rules and policies, pays close attention to detail, and works collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with welding and fabrication techniques (certification is an advantage).
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a structural fitter or assembler in a manufacturing or construction setting
  • Experience working in an ASME Section VIII shop is a plus

Schedule & Location

  • Full time, day shift
  • No weekends
  • In-person in Beggs, OK
